Not in a million years Jon. I've always squatted that low since I started lifting.

The weight felt so light I wanted to hold it there for another second. They had great judging at this meet. Fair all around and consistent.

Mike - great work on all of your lifts. One question I have is on your 430 your legs looked positioned good, but when the weight was going up did you drive your legs down at all? I couldn't tell in the video. My legs on the bench are a real problem (they're moving all over the place) and I'm trying to pick up tips as I learn the technique.

Great videos, which I could have a zip file of them all to refer to the proper technique easily.

Thanks

I don't think I understand your question. Leg drive is more like leg stability. Just focus on driving the feet down and back while keeping your butt on the bench.

OK - you're right. I read up on it a little this morning, and in fact the feet are are supposed to remain motionless like you say. I'm planning on meeting up with some locals to work on getting that stability.

They give you the press command. I like that much better than when they don't.
