To be real honest Rick, I hate it. Not that it doesn't work, it works great for many. I feel that the actual lift needs work and this means performing that lift week in and week out and building up to substantial poundage while using pristine technique. I also feel much of the same support work, as far as exercises are concerned, should be done week in and week out building up to large poundages for reps. This takes time, maybe 6 weeks maybe 12 who knows but I feel there needs to be that repetition of work.

Actually, when I'm not training for a meet I use straps for deadlifting and all back exercises. Then when a meet comes around I don't use straps for anything. I also do heavy hammer curls.
