Deadlift Morning 12/03/05

The 500 was not a max set of 5. Maybe had 6 or 7 in me. Everything else was good as well. I will stay at 265 on the rows as they were not hard but not easy.

Deadlift off Plates 405x5
Bent Rows off Plates 265x2x5

Nice work Mike. How many plates are you lifting off of?

When I can do 515x5 and 565x3 I know I'm good for 600+.

Very nice pulling, Mike... I wish I could pull 500 for a single (maybe by the end of next year), let alone five reps.
I figure that I'll share a tip Brian Siders gave me.
Instead of pulling off of plates or a platform, you can use smaller diameter plates like 35s or 25s to lower the height of the bar from the ground.
It's both safer and a bit more natural than pulling while standing on something.

The 35 pulls are nice. I don't have to worry about the plates sliding if I have to go gonzo on a rep. 35s standing on a 100 lbs plate works great, too.

500x5? Man, that's sick!!!
